Kundala dam

Kundala Dam is a dam built in Kundala, Madupetty Panchayat in Idukki district of Kerala, India, as part of the Pallivasal Hydroelectric Project on the Muthirapuzha River, a tributary of the Periyar River. It is also called Setuparvatipuram Dam. This dam was completed in 1947

Top station

Top Station is notable as the historic transshipment location for Kannan Devan tea delivered there from Munnar and Madupatty by railway and then down by ropeway to Kottagudi. This area is popular for the rare Neelakurinji flowers. The Kurinjimala Sanctuary is nearby

MOTTAKUNNU

Motta Kunnu of Vagamon ... "Motta Kunnu" in local language, "Motta" means Egg or Bald and "Kunnu" means hillock. Hence the name means bald / barren hills.

Kurisumala is a hill that is mainly a pilgrimage based destination. It has some attractions that will provide for a calming visit and a knowledge-filled experience of the holy hill. Vagamon Kurisumala Church is situated on the top of the hill.

THANGAL PARA

A Muslim pilgrim center in Vagamon, Thangalpara is the 'Dargah' or the final resting place of the Sufi saint Hasrat Sheikh Fariduddin Baba, who reached Kerala 800 years ago. The bottom of the rock has a masjid. One can visit the saint's tomb.

The Vagamon Glass Bridge is a cantilever skywalk glass bridge in Vagamon, Kerala. With a length of 40 metres, it is bridge is the longest cantilever glass bridge in India. The bridge, which has been built at the Idukki District Tourism Promotion Council's adventure park with the initiative of DTPC.
